Infrastructure Planning
Infrastructure planning involves a system approach to installation, operation and management.
Our team assesses your charging and energy needs to determine the amount of EV charging infrastructure needed in a particular area and to identify the best location for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).
Site location and Design Services
ProCal delivers site evaluations and design consultations, with the assistance of professional engineers with vast experience designing EV infrastructure. This includes analyzing existing infrastructure, assessing ADA requirements, and planning for future growth.
Make-Ready Installation
Making a site “Charger-Ready" involves both sides of the meter including the service panels, conduit, and wiring. Our experts create unique solutions to meet your sites specialized requirements and we pre-wire the electrical infrastructure at each parking space, to facilitate easy and cost-efficient installation for EVSE.

A typical project can take up to 10-12 months to have chargers in ground and ready to charge. This includes site evaluation, design, procurement of materials, building the infrastructure, and finally installation of the EVSE units.

Infrastructure is all necessary electrical infrastructure to operate the charging stations, all conduit and wire is pulled to the station location(s), all concrete work is completed properly so the stations can be mounted and any cellular repeaters are installed if required.
Make-Ready includes all infrastructure work on both the utility-side of the meter, and the customer-side of the meter, from the utility distribution system up to the first point of interconnection with the site’s EV charging equipment. The make-ready component of each project varies because of the specialized requirements for each site and make-ready costs are typically up to 40% of the capital costs of an installation.
